Job Summary:
The Field Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment or systems at client sites. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent customer service to ensure operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of [equipment/systems — e.g., telecommunications, HVAC units, electrical systems, IT hardware, etc.].
Conduct site inspections and diagnostics to identify technical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
Calibrate, test, and verify system performance to meet company and client standards.
Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical information and ensure service satisfaction.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies during on-site work.
Coordinate with the operations or logistics team to ensure timely parts delivery and job completion.
Provide feedback to the engineering or support team for product/service improvement.
Train or assist junior technicians as needed.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in [Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field].
Proven experience (1–3 years) as a Field Technician, Service Engineer, or similar role.
